Ahh Saturday

For the first time in a LONNNNG time, I got to sleep in (until about 9:45)! And it felt so good! I definitely love my sleep- 8-9+ hours and I'm good! Today I plan on doing absolutely nothing, which will also be great. We will be watching the game tonight with family (obviously), but other than that I plan to lay on the couch and relax :) I'm actually watching College GameDay as I blog!
As for Labor Day, I will be running my FIRST 10k and crossing another thing off of my Life List! I'm so excited and hope that I finish well..... well I just hope I can finish! I will definitely be posting on Monday and letting you all know how it went. Have a great and safe weekend and Labor Day!

Funny Friday

In Kindergarten I hear many funny things! Kids (for the most part) are so innocent and you can't help but laugh at some of the things they say. So, I decided to deem Fridays "Funny Friday" where I will share with you some of the funniest things I've heard all week. Ready?! Here we go:

Me: "Can anyone tell me something that is made out of cotton?"
Student: "Cotton candy!"

After learning about compound words-- "Mrs. Schulze, I know two restaurants that are compound words.... Pickel Bar-row and Cracker Bar-row!"

"Mrs. Schulze, I didn't get any hand-tizer/hannatizer." I've heard all forms of the words 'hand sanitizer'!

"You know you can only get jelly from jellyfish."

"Mrs. Shorts"

A kid, not it my class "Do you like Justin Bieber? I'm gonna take you to the show. I got tickets.... Will you be my friend?"
